We can supply whole groups of costumes for schools, youth drama and am dram and are also happy to kit out individuals – whatever their size!

We have all the characters from your favourite school plays; Oliver, Bugsy Malone, Wind in the Willows, Guys and Dolls, Mary Poppins and Grease. Costumes that we have provided recently are Mr Bumble, Nelson, Horatio Hornblower, Nancy, Eliza Doolittle, Maria Von Trapp and Rolfe, to name just a few.

We also have excellent Victorian costumes, Viking outfits, Roman costumes and Shakespeare style for those educational days that catch you out in the school calendar.

30 Nuns stuck in a snowdrift

What a week! The inclement weather has affected us all (including nuns) and created some truly bizarre circumstances.

Obviously our shipments went a bit haywire resulting in 30 nuns (costumes) being delayed en route back to us from Sister Act, but now we have been re-united, laundered and are safely out on the road again for The Sound of Music.

Our Oom Pah Pah skirts and dresses for Oliver finally reached their destination in Thanet, having spent the best part of the week on the M20 in Kent. Sadly this show had to be cancelled last weekend, but hopefully will be on again after Easter.

Then there was a school production of Guys and Dolls who had to postpone their production, but we were happy to let them keep the costumes for an extra week – so looking forward to seeing some pictures of this one.

Whilst Officer Crabtree and Michelle got stranded up north, John Proctor and Reverend Hale (from The Crucible) got separated from their ensemble in the depths of Cambridge – they are re-united now, after all the show must go on!

Beauty and the Beast and Gaston and his girls bravely carried on at Shenley Brook End, with only one performance being delayed. A superb production by all accounts and enjoyed by everyone.

Clint Eastwood bravely battled the elements and the road blocks to return his costume – so thank you.

It was with relief that Mary Poppins was able to collect the show costumes for her cast and with everything back to normal now weather wise, we look forward to Jesus Christ Superstar and the Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui going to plan next week.

We have some great dame costumes – lots of dresses and oufits in larger sizes especially for for Dames, including a wedding dress.
